APLIKASI PEMANDU WISATA BERBASIS LBS (LOCATION BASED SERVICE) DAN AGEN TRAVEL PADA KABUPATEN MAROS

Abstract

Maros Regency boasts significant tourism potential, but faces challenges like limited 
information access, poor directions, and a shortage of human resources. This app aims to 
provide tourists with easy, real-time access to information on popular destinations, optimal 
routes, and activity recommendations based on their location. Beyond that, its integration with 
travel agencies allows for diverse tour package selection, efficient booking, and personalized, 
structured travel guidance. Our research methodology involved in-depth user needs analysis, 
intuitive system and interface design, and advanced LBS feature development. The 
implementation includes key modules like nearby location search, interactive navigation, and 
integration with travel service providers. Trial results show a significant boost in information 
accessibility for tourists and improved coordination with travel agencies. We thoroughly tested 
the system to ensure accurate location data, responsive search performance, and reliable travel 
agency integration. By leveraging this technology, Maros Regency's tourism sector can 
optimize its growth, attract more visitors, and positively contribute to the local economy.
