Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence and motivation on employee performance at the Communication and Informatics Office. Employee performance is an important factor in achieving organizational goals, and factors such as emotional intelligence and motivation are considered to influence the level of performance. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach, where data is collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of the Communication and Informatics Office. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression to test the influence of emotional intelligence and motivation on employee performance simultaneously. The results of the study indicate that emotional intelligence and motivation have a significant influence on employee performance. Specifically, emotional intelligence plays an important role in improving interpersonal relationships and stress management in the workplace, while motivation acts as a driving factor in achieving individual and organizational goals. These findings are expected to be the basis for developing more effective HR management strategies in improving employee performance at the Communication and Informatics Office.
