Motorcycle accidents remain one of the major road safety problems in Indonesia. One of the factors contributing to these accidents is the presence of roadside hazards, which can increase the severity of crashes when riders lose control of their vehicles. This study aims to identify the characteristics of roadside hazards and analyze their influence on the risk of single motorcycle accidents along the Kalimalang Road segment in Bekasi Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach using primary data collected through field surveys to identify hazardous roadside objects, vehicle speed measurements, and documentation of road physical conditions. Secondary data were obtained from traffic accident records, road geometric data, and relevant road safety literature. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis and logistic regression to determine the influence of roadside hazard variables on motorcycle accident risk. The results indicate that several types of roadside hazards have the potential to increase motorcycle accident risk, including utility poles located close to the pavement edge, non-uniform shoulder conditions, open drainage channels, and other fixed roadside objects. Logistic regression analysis shows that the presence of roadside hazards has a significant effect on increasing the risk of single motorcycle accidents. The developed model can serve as a basis for road safety improvement programs through the mitigation of roadside hazards on urban road segments.
