Abstrak

A manual key is generally used to open a locked door in a house or room. However, this method still has disadvantages, such as losing the key or breaking in by using a duplicate key or a special way to open the door. Research was conducted using IoT to identify faces and create a door lock prototype to anticipate this. This research aims to develop a system to help users open the room door easily and monitor it through Android phones. This tool is made using ESP32-CAM to detect faces, where if the camera recognizes the detected face, then the Relay will command the Magnetic door lock to open the door, the green LED is ON, the red LED is OFF, and the LCD will display a message that the door is open. In contrast, if the face is not recognized, the door will remain locked, the red LED remains ON, the green LED remains OFF, and the LCD will continue to display a message that the door is locked. This research uses Android phones for monitoring.
