The Attraction of Population Movement in Makassar Towards Mall Ratu Indah

Ratu Indah Mall is the second largest mall in Makassar which was founded in 1999, visitors come not only from the street but from several other areas in South Sulawesi province. Therefore, Ratu Indah Mall can cause quite a large travel attraction and trigger crowds/congestion, so it is necessary to conduct research on the movement of movement towards the center of the Mall. The purpose of this research is to find out what factors most influence the attraction to Mall Ratu Indah and to find out the model of attraction for traveling to Mall Ratu Indah. This research uses the regression analysis method from the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) Version 25.0. Primary data surveys are carried out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays by distributing questionnaires to visitors who come and secondary data from maps or locations and visitors who come. Based on the results of primary data calculations, it was found that the factors that most influence the attraction to Ratu Indah Mall are the gender factor of 0.734 times the movement attraction/day and travel time amounting to 0.936 times the movement attraction/day.
