Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi sumber daya pangan lokal, mengidentifikasi kondisi ketersediaan pangan beserta faktor-faktor penghambatnya, serta merumuskan strategi optimalisasi sumber daya pangan lokal dalam meningkatkan ketersediaan pangan di Kabupaten Dogiyai. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap informan yang terdiri atas unsur pemerintah daerah, kelompok tani, petani, pedagang, dan masyarakat. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model analisis interaktif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kabupaten Dogiyai memiliki potensi pangan lokal yang melimpah, meliputi ubi jalar, keladi, singkong, jagung, pisang, dan sayuran lokal yang sesuai dengan kondisi geografis dan budaya masyarakat. Namun, ketersediaan pangan belum sepenuhnya stabil akibat ketergantungan terhadap pasokan dari luar daerah, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana pertanian, rendahnya akses terhadap modal dan teknologi, kendala distribusi, serta belum optimalnya kapasitas petani. Strategi optimalisasi yang direkomendasikan meliputi penguatan kapasitas petani, penyediaan sarana produksi, penguatan kelembagaan kelompok tani, peningkatan akses pasar dan distribusi, serta dukungan kebijakan pemerintah daerah secara berkelanjutan untuk mewujudkan ketersediaan pangan dan ketahanan pangan yang lebih mandiri.
