Pengaruh Stres Lose Streak dan Dukungan Sosial Tim terhadap Motivasi Bermain Pemain MLBB

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh stres akibat lose streak dan dukungan sosial dari tim terhadap motivasi bermain pada pemain Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) di awal season. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, melibatkan 30 pemain amatir Indonesia yang dipilih secara purposive. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei online menggunakan instrumen Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), dan Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI). Analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa stres akibat lose streak berpengaruh negatif terhadap motivasi bermain, sedangkan dukungan sosial tim berpengaruh positif. Hasil penelitian juga mengindikasikan bahwa dukungan sosial mampu mengurangi dampak negatif stres, sejalan dengan Buffering Hypothesis dan Self-Determination Theory yang menekankan peran dukungan sosial dalam mempertahankan motivasi intrinsik. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi pada kajian kesehatan mental digital dalam konteks e-sports, khususnya dinamika psikologis pemain MLBB di awal season yang rentan mengalami penurunan motivasi. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya dukungan sosial tim dalam membantu pemain mengelola tekanan kompetitif akibat kekalahan beruntun dan tetap mempertahankan motivasi bermain.
